{"id":67,"date":"2014-03-04T22:37:24","date_gmt":"2014-03-04T21:37:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sicl.it\/en\/?page_id=67"},"modified":"2018-07-19T12:57:46","modified_gmt":"2018-07-19T10:57:46","slug":"workshops","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.sicl.it\/en\/workshops\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshops"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">The SICL has established a collaboration with the scientific communities of Japan and Brazil through the <\/span>organization of joint workshops to promote bilateral cultural exchange in order to trigger new scientific collaborations and to strengthen existing ones.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\"><b>Italy-Japan Bilateral Workshop<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Since 2002 it has been establishing a partnership with the Japanese Society of Liquid Crystals (<a href=\"http:\/\/jlcs.jp\/en\/\u200e\">JLCS<\/a>).\u00a0The two societies organized every two years, alternately in the two countries, joint workshops.\u00a0The SICL-JLCS\u00a0w<\/span>orkshops \u00a0were held in different Italian and Japanese locations:<\/p>\n<p>Erice (TP) 2002<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Tsu, 2004<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Castiglioncello (PI), 2006<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Nara, 2008<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Cetraro (CS), 2010<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Tokyo, 2012<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ravenna, 2014<\/p>\n<p>Kyoto, 2016<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">The next workshop will be held in Pavia\u00a0in conjunction with\u00a0<\/span>the next national congress SICL \u00a017 to 20\u00a0September\u00a02018 \u00a0.Visit the website for more information at\u00a0<a id=\"w1392647179420\" href=\"http:\/\/wwwsicl.it\/meetings2018\" target=\"_blank\">sicl.it\/meetings20148<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Workshop Italy-Brazil<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In 2012, in Erice the SICL and the Brazilian scientific community on liquid crystals have inaugurated a series of bilateral workshops.<\/p>\n<p>In 2013, Maceio in Brazil the second workshop was held between the two Italian and Brazilian\u00a0delegations .<\/p>\n<p>5th Workshop of Liquid Crystals for Photonics<\/p>\n<p>It will be held in Erice from the 2nd to the 7th September 2014 as part of the XXth International School on Liquid Crystals.\u00a0\u00a0Visit the website for more information at\u00a0\u00a0<a id=\"w1392647507265\" href=\"http:\/\/wlcp2014.uniroma1.it\/\" target=\"blank\">wlcp2014.uniroma1.it<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The SICL has established a collaboration with the scientific communities of Japan and Brazil through the organization of joint workshops to promote bilateral cultural exchange in order to trigger new scientific collaborations and to strengthen existing ones.
