{"id":55,"date":"2014-03-04T19:30:29","date_gmt":"2014-03-04T18:30:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sicl.it\/en\/?page_id=55"},"modified":"2014-04-08T16:03:49","modified_gmt":"2014-04-08T14:03:49","slug":"meetings","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.sicl.it\/en\/meetings\/","title":{"rendered":"Meetings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">The SICL organizes the following meetings:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">The national conference every two years<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">International School on the LCD at the &#8220;Ettore Majorana&#8221; Centre for Scientific Culture\u00a0in Erice (TP) in Sicily<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Joint workshops between the SICL and the Japanese Liquid Crystal\u00a0Society (JLCS)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Joint workshops between the SICL and the Brazilian scientific community of the liquid crystals<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; line-height: 1.5;\">The SICL has also promoted the organization of international meetings such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0European Conference on Liquid Crystals in Sesto in 2005<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">13<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Optics of Liquid Crystals in Erice in 2009<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">The SICL is organizing the 5th Workshop on Liquid Crystal for Photonics, which will be held from the 2nd to 7th of September, 2014, at the Centre for Scientific Culture &#8220;Ettore Majorana&#8221; in Erice (TP).
